Hello, and welcome to the Philosophy academy
We are are two fully qualified and highly experienced teachers of both Philosophy and Religious Studies, with more than 40 years teaching students in the state and private sector.
We have set up the philosophy academy, so that we could support students through their A level and GCSEs in both Philosophy and Religious Studies. We are also able to help undergraduate students who need support while at university.
We offer a lot more than just one-to-one tuition, this is because when you sign up to studying with us, you gain access to our specialist website. Here you can access, bespoke videos on content, tutorials on how to write essays, handouts, revision posters, and advice so that you are robustly supported in your studies.
The philosophy academy offers revision courses through the year, so that you are as prepared as possible when exam season finally arrives.
We design our material with inclusivity in mind so that neurodiverse students can access the content with ease. This has been done, using the latest pedagogical research, on how to make our material accessible. We also specialise in advice on how to support your child you if they are neurodiverse.
Who we are
Mr Nir Shaki
Ms Mohini Qavi
The philosophy academy has been set up by Nir Shaki and Mohini Qavi. After both having taught our subjects and worked in middle management in schools for the last 20 years, we thought we should use our expertise to set up a new kind of tuition hub, which gives an unparalleled experience to students. Using the latest teaching methods, and pedagogical research to support students through their school years.
